Question5
Answer5

Why does editing
seem to take so long?

As a movie, your wedding program should flow like a story. Stories contains a 3-act structure: a beginning, a middle and an end. Even if you can't exactly pinpoint them, you can sense that 3-act progression when you watch a movie. This is why even my shortest video package contains a minimum of 3 parts.

Editing takes a lot more time and effort than one would expect. It is a painstaking creative process as well as a technical wonder that takes a lot of brain power. The more time I have to think about it, the better your video will be. Remember how long is has taken you to plan your wedding? Love takes time and so does video!

How far do you travel?
I usually stick around Southern California and there is a fee scale for travel based on distance. If you're less than 20 miles away then it's free. If you pay for airfare, cab & lodging then I'll fly to any English speaking country!

Question8
Answer8
What kinds of equipment do you use?
I use as many as 5 cameras at the ceremony and as many as 3 at the reception. I prefer cameras that are small and easily concealed as this makes people more comfortable and leads to more natural performances. Make an appointment and I'll be glad to introduce you to my equipment. Panasonic. Sony. Apple. Senheiser. My prinary cameras are the Panasonic DVX100A and Sony HD. Secondary cameras are smaller Sony 3-chips.
