Busy Bee Photographers (and Videographer)

I [laughed so hard] when I saw your video on really obtrusive wedding photographers!!! I am a wedding photographer myself, and I can see how annoying that would be =) I have some pet peeves about videographers, thats why I usually only recommend one in particular. I love your sense of humor though ;) - M

Hi Carol: Love your photojournalistic photographer horror videos! Made me laugh. Really well done. Keep up the good work! John

hi, just wanted to say i enjoyed your site. great editing! chris brooks, wedding videographer, Macon, GA

Carol, Sorry, I am not a prospective client, but have to tell you that your videos of wedding photographers misbehaving has made it onto a forum on wedding photography, fredmiranda.com. The title of the post is "Just Plain Embarrassing." We appreciate your seeing the funny side of this. Please accept our apology on behalf of all wedding photogs, and our compliments on how hysterical you made these! Best, Jeff

Sorry to use this email to contact you, but I saw your little video clips about photographers, and as an event photographer myself, I couldn't be more repulsed by the way these photogs acted!! but then again, I couldn't stop laughing with how you presented it!! Excellent work and example of how the new "photojournalistic" wedding photography can be horribly done by photographers of lesser skills. I just had to compliment you on your video clip, and the music you selected for both was tooooo perfect! LOL Wishing the best of prosperity for your business, Charles

Hi Carol, Love your journalistic photography video. Many of us at the digital wedding forum had a huge laugh. Anyways, I realized your in my neck of the woods and I wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Have a great week, Jesse www.weldonsphotography.com

I found your photographer clips via a wedding photography forum. ROTFLMAO!!! Had to take a moment to say thanks! Dave (Chicagoland, Illinois)

Dear Carol, Thanks for posting the videos of the out-of-control photographers. You have done an excellent job documenting behaviors we so strongly dislike in certain of our colleagues. My wife and I are "promateur" photojournalistic wedding, etc. photographers in central North Carolina. Our clientle is mostly local, starving graduate students, so it is highly unlikely our paths will ever cross. This is unfortunate, as we have a substantial collection of videographer backside photos, since we, as you, will not intrude on the wedding party. You seem to be just the sort of person we like to work with. If you do not object, we would like to occasionally (maybe a couple of times a month, at most) use your video clip to draw a contrast with our style. We certainly understand if you do not want your bandwidth consummed when there is no obvious way for you to benefit and will respect your wishes. I was very impressed with the artful ways you edited the videos in the example clips. Anyway, we wish you well. Best regards, Ron

Hi Carol. I ran across your site by following a forum thread link posted on dpreview.com. I simply love the video showing the photographers who get in the way of the main video camera. The sped up track to the tune of Mission Impossible is great and really tells the story. If I might make one suggestion, I think it would be even funnier if it were to the tune of the "Theme from Benny Hill". You have a nice site. Have a great day! Tim (from Tampa, FL)

Hi Carol, Somebody sent me a link to your site for the 'intrusive' wedding photojournalist videos. I thought they were hilarious. I'm a wedding photographer in Pittsburgh, PA. I lean toward PJ photography, but try to respect the sanctity of the ceremony. I also try and work with the other service providers as much as possible. Unfortunately, there are uncooperative and selfish videographers out there as well(I have worked with a couple, as well as had to deal with their antics, ie: constant wide angle, tight, close shots!!) For the most part, I believe that most photographers and videographers are professional, and know what NOT to do, as well as what needs to be done. But again, 'The Flight of the Bumblebee Photographers' is great. Good luck in this season. That's right.....you are in California, and there is no wedding season, like in northern climates.....one day, I'm moving! Jim

just saw your site. thank you for the laughs (video ) very well done. unfortunatley, i think there are a lot of hacks out there like that. they really believe that pj is a license to crawl everywhere. i'm laying here recouping from a motorcycle wreck yesterday that left me with 2 broken ribs, and your videos made me hurt!! excellent choice in music also. again, thanks. mike

Hello Carol, A friend just referred your site to me. I have mixed emotions about it. At first, I thought it was funny and then I was totally embarrassed because I am a professional photographer and the behavior of the two during the ceremony is awful. I want to apologize to you on behalf of the photographic community. I am sending a link to your site to all of the pro photographers in our Chattanooga Tennesse guild and I hope it will make them think. btw - your videography is stunning, excellent work! Greg

I loved your movie about "photojournalistic photography." This has happened more times than I can count. I am also a videographer and it was nice to see somebody else showing the reality of some profesionally, unprofessional photographers. -Timothy
