The
Booking Procedure
Fill
out a CONTRACT request and
a contract will be mailed to you for your signature. This is followed by a planning packet that will help you communicate your vision for your video with me.
Terms
of the Production Agreement
A
nonrefundable deposit of $500 is due at the time the contract is signed.
Both must be taken care of at the same time. Personal checks preferred.
Paypal can be used for credit
card payment. The rest is due before editing begins.
Liability Insurance
Yes, I carry basic $1M liability insurance coverage that will meet the requirements of your posh hotel venue. And if they ask for it, they can be named as additionals for the day. Just provide their name & address once we book.
Back-up
Video Equipment
I
bring 4 cameras to weddings with me and they act as back-ups for each
other since they're all running at the same time anyway. Even the 1-camera
version actually has 2 cameras running (1 backup). I also bring a 10/20
watt light to help in dark spots. ( Click to read more about lighting)
Cultural
Diversity
Although I specialize
in traditional Christianized American weddings, I've done quite a variety
of religious and culturally diverse weddings. Click the name to see a sample. Jewish,
Chinese, Filipino,
Korean, East
Indian & African
Turnaround
Time
I've
invested in a new computer this year which has sped up the editing
process. It now takes about 6 weeks to deliver a fully edited wedding. What has not changed is the fact that
I can't begin editing until I have all of your music & any pictures.
This means if your wedding or event was in January but you don't give
me your music until April then the clock doesn't start to tick until
April.

Working
With Photographers
Some
photographers are very relaxed & confident, others are stressed
out & uncertain. Either way, they have a very different agenda from
mine. They move around to get shots of you before you move but I stay
still to get shots of you moving! In his world, he does all the moving but in my world, you do. See the difference? This is why a photographer cannot also be a videographer; he has a habit of moving around all the time. A good videographer knows how to stand still. For video's sake and the
sake of the sacredness of the moment, it's best if you restrict flash
photography during the ceremony. Here are some amusing videos to show you what I mean.

All-Day
Weddings (or almost)
If
the time gap between events is 3 hours or more then the hold fee is
only $40 per hour. If your wedding & reception are in Burbank then
we can negotiate hold hours because I can go home and work on something
else during that time.
