 FILM is Forever!
My cameras are placed in front, in back, at left and at right. You'll be pleased to see how well my remote control system works and how unobtrusive it is. Your photo crew will draw more attention than I will. I emphasize footage of people, emotions and activities, not just stylish scenery. The groom and minister will wear tiny microphones for the ceremony. At the reception, I operate 2 cameras (one in hand, one on a stand) and a third camera records a time-lapse. My low blood-pressure gives me a steady-cam hand (no extra gear required). To my knowledge, I am the only videographer in LA who shoots weddings this way. (Mainly because I don't like paparazzi myself!) I do interviews upon request. Organization is key so please book early so you have enough time to choose your music and fill out the Call Sheet[?].
EDITING is Magic
All of the great romantic movies contain a combination of documentary footage (the parts with dialogue) and montage footage (the parts with just music). These elements are laid out in a 3-Act story structure. I believe a wedding video should be like that. As a result, this will be a movie that holds your family's interest over the years. Even that $40mil action-adventure movie sitting on your shelf will have a hard time competing against this wedding video in the race for your child's attention! |
